What is The Nature Bin?
The idea for The Nature Bin is to create products that are good for you, focusing on organic, all natural, and reusable. Our store contains a mix of balms, crystals, herbal teas, soy candles, incense, bath salts and scrubs, jewelry, essential oils, crystal infused, and more. We are currently working on our own line of crystal infused products with crystals inside! These items will include our sugar body scrubs and bath salts and essential oil rollers and sprays!
We created The Nature Bin because we want people, our customers, to treat themselves to something nice, everyday! Because we know you are working hard at life and you deserve it and you are worth it.
So, BE KIND TO YOURSELF. I know it's way to easy to criticize ourselves in everything we do, I do it all the time. And in knowing that I am very critical of myself (but shouldn't be), I want to do something nice for myself everyday. Whether it's wearing an ethically sourced gemstone diffuser bracelet with my favorite essential oil, using one of our crystal infused rollers (with crystals inside) numerous times a day (I'm addicted to them), sitting down to write in my journal with my favorite candle scent or incense burning. Meditating with my favorite crystal or crystals in my palms or around my body. Or treating myself to a crystal infused bath with a lovely bath salt or body scrub.
I know that doing nice things for myself helps me to be at my best, to be mindful of what I do or say. When I am at my best, I can pass it along to others. Mindfully work on myself everyday and helping others to do the same.
Also, we love products and ingredients that are friendly to the environment or are reusable. We seek out ingredients that are sustainable, green, organic, 100% all natural and ethically sourced. When placing an order you can even offset the carbon emissions from your e-commerce shipment by planting a tree for only .65 cents!
Here is a little about me... My name is Liza, I am born and reside in Minnesota. I am married with two teenage boys! I have my AAS degree in Communication Art. So naturally I do most of the social media and branding stuff for The Nature Bin. I love hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, skiing, fishing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. I also have a deep love of animals and nature.
Hi! I'm Kerry. I was born in Minnesota and live here with my husband of 25 years and 2 teenage sons. Some of my hobbies include reading, camping, kayaking, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends. When I was in my early 20's I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. That set me on my search for a more natural lifestyle. I have met many amazing people along the way and have learned so much. So when Liza asked me to join her and start The Nature Bin I was very excited. Finding the perfect balance between mind, body and soul is a wonderful journey.
